Lower Knolls Garage Access (751, 753, 755 Harpeth Trace Dr.)

We have received ongoing reports of vendor vehicles parking along the narrow strip adjacent to the Lower Knolls units at 751, 753, and 755 Harpeth Trace Drive in a manner that blocks residents’ garage access.

While we understand that parking within the community can be limited and vendors do their best to work within those constraints, this particular area is extremely narrow. When vehicles park there, residents are often unable to access or exit their garages. In several cases, residents have not been able to locate the responsible vendor to request that the vehicle be moved, creating significant inconvenience.

The Knolls have already addressed this issue with their residents and vendors. It has become clear that many of the vehicles parking in this location are vendors working elsewhere in the community.

To help prevent further disruption:

  • Please inform your vendors and contractors not to park along the narrow strip serving 751, 753, and 755 Harpeth Trace Drive.

  • Vendors should park in front of the home where they are actively working or in another area that does not restrict garage access.

  • Remind your vendors that they are considered guests and must comply with all community parking restrictions.

The Lower Knolls will refresh existing “No Parking” pavement markings and install additional signage in this area. Once signage is in place, vehicles parked in violation may be subject to towing.

All of our roads are narrow. With the uptick in construction work in the neighborhood, please make sure your vendors do not make it difficult for larger vehicles to get around them no matter where they're parked in Harpeth Trace.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping ensure continued access and consideration for all residents.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
