Warner Parks Open, State Parks Closed

While state parks are closed April 4 through April 15 in support of Governor Lee's "Stay at Home" order, our nearby Warner Parks are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. as well as other City parks acording to Monique Horton Odom, Director, Metro Board of Parks and Recreatiion.
According to a release we received from Odom, "While our parks, greenways, and trails are open to give all of us a much-needed respite from this unexpected viral war on our health – there is still a segment of our users that ignores the pleas for social distancing. And, while we have done our best to help flatten the curve by closing dog parks, picnic shelters, basketball courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, and other facilities - there are still those that ignore our very straightforward and urgent warnings to avoid these much-loved areas during this time."
